The enchanted imagination of Chagall steps out of the canvas to give life to a three-dimensional universe of colours, sounds and emotions. Visual arts. theatre, music and new technologies come together to tell the extraordinary adventure of one of the best-loved painters of all time. A 360-degree art experience that takes shape in twelve steps, each one representative of a phase in the life of Chagall or one of the themes he held most dear. Fables and legends of the Jewish tradition, classical myths such as that of Daphne and Chloe, but also the poems and the great love for Bella Rosenfeld live again within the backdrops of Vitebsk, where the painter was born, or in the Paris of the avant-garde, in mosaics and collages as seen in the marvellous paintings of the Opéra Garnier and in the remarkable stain-glass works created for cathedrals and synagogues. 3D sets and models give the artist’s work a new spatial dimension, while the soundtrack by Luca Longobardi highlights the magic atmosphere. A voyage of wonder and delight, to meet an icon of the 1900s and appreciate the richness of his artistic legacy.
