The project involves the exposure of a photograph Vintage 1991, already exhibited in the same year at the Aperture Gallery in Milan, flanked by a series of works created especially for the exhibition. The recurring theme of the photographic works of Romagnoli, the moon, interacts in this exhibition with a series of photographs of different subject choices among the recent production of the artist, and a series of small format reproductions of doodles in both original and reproduction through printing fine art.

Unexpected new moon
There is an invisible thread that holds everything related doodles drawing in and out of our lives. An artist fishing in the casket of his deepest being, where is the lifeblood of his inspiration. And where are moving currents that perhaps he himself ignores it. Edward Romagnoli lines in diptychs and triptychs images and designs - fine doodle result of automatic writing - by connecting the moon to the most unknown motions of his spirit. Heaven and earth, inner and outer, spirit and matter are a temporary consolidation.

The marks left by a hand wriggling, curious, restless connect smoothly, with surprising ease, the nerve of that satellite trails billion times and always observed but still inexplicable. Romagnoli chasing the moon, the queries, the peers from different angles every time creating a formal continuity with his other beautiful images. Expressions different artistic dialogue to give us what only art can give. Mysterious twists, sudden jerks, hot color burst and interrupted, as the awakening of a volcano or the unexpected irruption of the unconscious. A journey of emotions that lead us in ourselves and at the same time we open up to the grandeur of the universe, with a breath that beat joyfully, with elegance, the abyss, the abyss all.

The idea of ??movement Other works: the "Races", in which the artist uses movement to distract the photographic subject and grasp its naturalness; work "Trees", "Luci d'Artista" and others, where the movement is used to achieve a result-metaphysical painting.

Great at ¬ nance and interest in research on the expressiveness of the body are evident in the series "Self Timer", "Performance", "Dreams" and "Portrait in the box."

In parallel to the photographic work develops research on "Doodles", drawings that come out impulsively and automatically while doing another and constitute the primary source of labor. Small establishment always collected by the artist that are reworked in the 90s through the photocopier and today thanks to the most modern techniques of capturing and processing images.
