Ispirational Places tells how a particular excitation of the mind, imagination or feeling push an artist to create a work weaving their own experience with meeting new people and discovering previously unknown places. The exhibition compares the inspiration, seen as irrational and incomprehensible explosion of creativity of 7 international artists: Ann Caroline Breig, James Jessop, Kate Groobey, Alana Lake, Christopher Russell, Hannah Dougherty, Neil Raitt, who lived and worked in Italy for about three months.
The factor that unites these artists is not only their international but their participation in the program AIR - Artist in Residence organized by martin - Martini Art International. This program has become a reference on an annual basis this year has reached its 6th edition.
Partners of the project is Antico Borgo Monchiero art living hotel. The AIR 2014 edition is organized in collaboration with the Join Srl The selection of artists was carried out in collaboration with the Royal College of Arts in London and the City & Guilds of London Art School.
