Madama Palace presents, starting from November 1, a new exhibition in the Ceramics Room dedicated to the famous Lenci factory, in which the museum has dedicated a major exhibition in 2010.
The exhibition, that is made ??possible through the generous loan of two private collectors and the Fondazione Guido and Ettore De Fornaris, highlights the two key moments in the creative process of manufacturing Lenci: the initial one, the plasters, and the final, the ceramics.
The plasters of Lenci, from a private collection, are a veritable archive of the factory, where you also find the ideas remained in draft and never realized. The selection presented in the Senate offers to the attention of the public the direct comparison with the corresponding ceramics, such as the "Triumph of Bacchus" by John Grande, plus some unreleased refined as the "Princess and the Pea" attributable to Mario Sturani of which are not known achievements in pottery.
The exhibition is also an opportunity to see again reunited, after the show "Adventure Lenci," Seasons of Mario Sturani in ceramic and plaster.
