Opened in 1870, Platti is an art nouveau jewel, loved by the Savoy bourgeoisie – even now, if you sit down for a drink or a bite in the lavish Mirrors room, you might feel suddenly infected by its aristocratic atmosphere. Its breakfasts are famous, with croissants so beautiful they look like jewels. But you can also have lunch here, to taste one of the dishes of the buffet (every day from 12.30 a.m. to 3 p.m., on the first floor). If you wish for take-away, in the nearby pastry shop you will find cakes, sweets, chocolate and an endless selection of candies.
