Ca' Macana is one of the oldest and most well-known mask shops in Venice, where typical venetian masks are completely handmade. At the start, the work was limited to creating new models and reproducing old ones, but it soon evolved and diversified, crossing over into sculpture, set and interior design, as well as into the dissemination of knowledge through classes and conferences covering everything connected with mask-making techniques and the history of masks.
