The artist studio program of the Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa, created in 1901 with the establishment of the Foundation, continues today after more than 110 years of activity. It goes on with the annual assignment of 12 ateliers, while preserving its mission in support of young artists, particularly those working in the Triveneto area.

The artists, selected by a jury, will be introduced at Palazzetto Tito on Friday March 14th at 11am: Giuseppe Abate e Paola Angelini, Anemoi, Marko Bjelan?evi?, Saverio Bonato, Pamela Breda, Samuele Cherubini, gli Impresari, Graziano Meneghin and Jacopo Trabona, Fabrizio Perghem, Fabio Roncato, Caterina Erica Shanta, Eleonora Sovrani are their names.

This year, as usual, the assignees - artists and collectives operating in different fields of visual arts (paintings, performances, relational arts, installations, digital arts, photography, videos) - will work in the ateliers at Pallazzo Carminati near San Stae and in the Cloister of SS. Cosma and Damiano in Giudecca for twelve months.

The events will begin with the Artists' Talk & Open Studios. On this occasion the artists will present their research and future projects at Palazzetto Tito and will welcome visitors in their studios.
In June, during the Art Night, they will have the opportunity to deal with the Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia; the Premio Stonefly Cammina Con l'Arte and the conclusive exhibition, with the annual book published by Moleskine, will follow. Besides these events, the artists themselves organized other initiatives, together with studio visits open to international curators and art directors.

The project involved various institutions, including the Museo Carlo Zauli, the Fondazione Bonotto, OCA Norway and the Collezione Maramotti.
