DESCRIZIONE:
Consecrated to San Giovanni Decollato, it is the church of the Archbrotherhood which cared for the sentenced. Re-built by Filippo Nicolis di Robilant between 1720 and 1751, it has a neoclassical facade made by Lorenzo and Gaetano Lombardi (1828). The Greek-cross interior features an elegant high altar by Francesco Benedetto Feroggio (1792) and the Decapitation of the Baptist attributed to Federico Zuccari. Niches still house the book with the names of the sentenced, the black hoods and the glass to take the last sip from.
