The exhibition which opens February 19 at the Luce Gallery is born by "similarity" around a song by Pete Yorn: JUST ANOTHER. Because music is often intertwined with other artistic disciplines, in a reciprocal exchange between images and sound waves. When we see a film accompanied by a special soundtrack to our perception of time is multiplied through images and music: the hearing and sight are connected and the feeling is strengthened. The paintings on display seem to contain that sound that recalls our moments simpler but also more intimate moments in which space and time seem to stop. Certain situations have a particular atmosphere and relate in a natural way with the music. And so JUST ANOTHER, the soundtrack of this exhibition, inspired by the passing of life, but also to turn the page or simply move on to another show. Pete Yorn reminds us that every moment can be special, in every place: it is the ordinary becomes extraordinary, as in the alchemy of the exhibiting artists. "Silence in my opinion is a place where sound can start" says JPW3; in the silence of the gallery paintings allow us to attune with the song Pete Yorn, which leads us to infinity, the great landscapes, the sea, the desert. As well as the works on display that suggest the idea of sound and thought in motion. Each of the five artists in the exhibition has its musicality that unites him with the spirit of JUST ANOTHER, calling for reflection and intimism. To be able to listen paintings possess a certain pattern, which can be dictated by the syncopated cadence as well as by a drafting soft nell'amalgama of a landscape, as in the case of Leif Ritchey. Showcasing a road leading to the places of destiny and is a symbol of the journey of a lifetime as Ethan Greenbaum Balliano or David, or the deserts of Dustin Pevey with their flavor of aridity, but that open indefinitely. Abandoning the soundtrack visitors can then go part of the way together with the artists on display. Each to their own section and not have to go far because basically it is not the destination that matters, but the path.
