The Champollion brothers. In the secret of hieroglyphics. Les frères Champollion. Dans le secret des hiéroglyphes
Country: France | Director: Jacques Plaisant | Duration: 52'
Year: 2022 | Production: Tournez s'il vous plait – Agnès & Christie Molia | Scientific advice: Karine Madrigal, Vincent Rondot | Italian language
Two hundred years ago, Jean-François Champollion deciphered Egyptian hieroglyphics for the first time, thus solving one of the greatest enigmas in the history of mankind. What is little known is that behind this genius there is a man in the shadows: Jacques-Joseph, the older brother of the Champollion family. The recent study of the family archives sheds new light on the intellectual adventure of deciphering.
Conversation with Fatma Naït Yghil, Director of the Bardo National Museum in Tunis. Curated by Piero Pruneti, Director of Archeologia Viva and Cristiano Tiussi, Director of the Aquileia Foundation.
Baia, the sunken city
Country: Italy | Director: Marcello Adamo | Duration: 52' | Year: 2021

A unique team of restorers in the world has the arduous task of restoring and preserving the largest submerged archaeological site on the planet a few kilometers from Naples: Baia, the city of luxury and hedonistic pleasure of the Roman nobles.
