In the context of a historical vocation and a renewed focus on modern and contemporary art, the Civic Museums Foundation of Venice has begun work on a project to upgrade the Galleria Internazionale d'Arte Moderna Ca' Pesaro. The goal is to return to the city of Venice a dynamic and open to the contemporary, with special attention to those training activities, study, research and development that are an integral part of the specific mission of a museum.
The new exhibition, which will open at the International Art Biennale 2013 with the title s'inaugurerà interviews, in order to recover the relational dynamics within the collections and those affinities that were the basis of the large contemporary history of Venice, Ca ' Pesaro - it should be noted - has the first municipal collection of modern art opened in Italy in the late 800 ( coinciding with the birth of the Biennale ).
