In the series of frescoes of The Stories of Saint Alessio and Saint Clement is the scene of the patrician Sisinnio who orders his servants to drag the away the body of Clement, which meanwhile has miraculously been transformed into a column of marble. The fresco is an important document of contemporary italian, thanks to the inscriptions among which is the famed “Fili de le pute, traite...!” - “Sons of bitches, pull...!”
