Made by Guarino Guarini between 1668 and 1694, it has a circular shape and conical dome. Fully covered in white and black marbles, it preserves the altar and the shrine containing the silver urn, locked by seven keys, where the Holy Shroud lays. The precious relic, owned by the House of Savoy since 1430, is only visible during the exhibition.
