The Carrara marble staircase was built in 1822. Its three flights with lacunar ceilings lead to the Royal Apartments. In the Dining Hall, the ceiling is decorated with flowers and hunting trophies. Queen Adelaide’s exquisitely carved rosewood and bois de rose living room furniture can still be seen in the Congress Hall. The Proclamation Hall is decorated in a neoclassical style. Other interesting features can be found in the Hall of Mirrors, the Royal Chapel and the Apartments of Maria Clotilde of Savoy and her daughter Maria Letizia Bonaparte.
