This is a Venetian art furnace for sculpture, ceramic art and architectural decoration, which was established at the beginning of the 1900s thanks to Venetian sculptor Romano Vio, who passed on this art to his children, and then to his grandchildren. Famous for his sculptures for commission for buildings and churches, he made unique works of art and handicraft items, an interesting variety of low reliefs, Saint Mark’s lions, terracotta items, bronze and glass sculptures. The atmosphere in the studio – amid furnaces, shelves and tables - is very fascinating for handicraft-lovers.
