It is named after the so-called portico del Bancogiro (credit transfer colonnade), where it is located. It is a welcoming osteria inside an old building, a short walk from the Rialto Bridge. It is possible to eat both al fresco, on the tables with a view of the Grand Canal, and inside the osteria, where the look is drawn to the magnificent vaults which outline the well-finished and furnished setting. The wine list is excellent, the menu is full of high-quality products (the selection of cheese and preserves is a must-eat) and the owners are both funny and friendly.
