In 1998 Nicola Tenderini opened his Atelier. On the ground floor he shows reproductions of his watercolours, whereas on the first floor he works with a gorgeous view on the Rialto area. His favourite themes are architecture, the Venetian atmosphere, the doors worn out by water on the canal banks. He keeps looking for and discovering wall shades and whimsy views, or shadows that cut and carve the capitals and the three-light windows of Venetian buildings.
