The internal decoration of the church was made by Tiepolo in multiple stages. In the second chapel of the nave, dedicated to Saint Teresa d'Avila, he frescoed the glory of the saint, simulating the breaking of the vault and painting a jubilant crowd of angels carrying her to the sky.
