Offering a selection of truly beautiful small handmade articles inspired by ancient Rome and Aquileia’s glorious past. Highlights include the unguentariums – little ceramic and glass flasks that were used to hold fragrant oils and balsams – elegant versions of the Aquileian cross to be worn as pendants or brooches, and necklaces created with a nod to the marvellous specimens on show in the town’s National Archaeological Museum. And not forgetting the brightly coloured ceramic cups of all shapes and sizes.
