Its museums and its archaeological sites welcomed around 145.000 people in 2013, while Museums in Florence received 36.000 visitors during January and February 2014, with an 8% growth compared to the same period last year.

Besides the Uffizi Gallery and Palazzo Pitti, which are at the top of the list of positive reviews, the ranking includes the Accademia Gallery, the Museo del Bargello, the Museum of the Cathedral in Pisa, the one in Montepulciano, the archaeological museum in Pitigliano, the Museum of Sansepolcro and the Bardini Museum in Florence.
