Turin - The exhibition of Ettore Spalletti at the GAM in Turin has just begun, but it is ready for another vernissage.
On March 27th the Gallery of Modern Art welcomed "Un giorno così bianco, così bianco", which will be open until June 15ht 2014. Meanwhile, it will be displayed in parallel at the MAXXI in Rome and at the MADRE in Naples, for a total 70 works exhibited from North to South.

The 25 works of the Turin location aim at conveying the atmosphere of the studio of this well-known contemporary artist and they will provide visitors with the opportunity to meditate on the interpretation of forms, lights and colors.

In this view, soon they will be presented next to the "Boy bitten by a lizard" from the Fondazione Longhi, Florence. The canvas, painted between 1595 and 1596 is the first version of another work with the same subject-matter, owned by the National Gallery of London.

Thanks to this interesting project, these two artists will be compared, generating a dialogue that will cross over four centuries of art history.
