Venice - The Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa in partnership with the Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia presents Nature Animate, an exhibition of art animated videos inspired by the "Fantastic Nature", main theme of the 2014 edition of the Venice Carnival.

The event takes place in two prestigious locations: on one hand Palazzo Mocenigo, Center for the History of Textiles and Costume. On the other hand Palazzetto Tito, house of the Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa, devoted to experimentation in Contemporary art.

From February 18th to March 4th visitors can watch animated the videos by Pierre Bourrigault, Michele Bernardi, Rastko Ciric, Igor Imhoff, Jadwiga Kowalska, Robert Löbel, Joni Männistö, Marina Rosset, Andres Tenusaar, Péter Vácz, where sign, graphic design, colors and sounds blend in a poetic shade.

These artists come from various european countries and belong to different generations, with a broad perspective on the evolution of contemporary animation.

This double exhibition was created by Stefano Coletto and Paola Bristot, lecturer, art animation expert and director of the Piccolo Festival dell'Animazione, which launched the artists exhibited.
This project is in collaboration with the Associazione Viva Comix and the Animateka Film Festival.
