Venice - The talk "The art market during the crisis" will take place on Saturday, April 5th, 2014 at 2.30pm, in the context of the finalists exhibition of the 8th Arte Laguna Prize. The event, with free admission, is organized in the Tesa 105 of the Arsenale in Venice, next to the exhibition.
Among the speakers Alessia Zorloni, IULM professor and expert in economics of art, Alessia Panella, collector and lawyer, Dioniso Gavagnin, collector, and Martina Gambillara, blogger of Art Market Talks.
This meeting marks the end of the eight edition of the prize, with the participation of 110 artists. Five of them were awarded for their respective discipline: the dutch painter Bianca De Gier, the Irish sculptor Elaine Byrn and the Spanish photographer Victoria Campillo. The work by Apiyo Amolo, from Kenya, won in the video art and performance section, while the French Émilie Brout & Maxime Marion were awarded in the virtual and digital art practice.
