The Art Night is back in Venice

Venice - Two weeks after the big party that livened up Venice on the occasion of the 14. International Architecture Exhibition, the city will stay up late during Art Night.
Now in its fourth edition, the white night promoted by Ca 'Foscari University and the Municipality will keep more than 100 museums and institutions open until late on Saturday, June 21st, 2014, with 400 free events.

The Peggy Guggenheim Collection will be open with free admission from 6pm to 10pm, offering guided tours and the children's workshop "Tessuto in famiglia. Perché l’unione fa la forza!"

From 7pm to 11pm, the Fondazione Musei Civici will host the works of 12 young artists from the Atelier of the Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa. They will be located in the museums of Ca 'Pesaro - International Gallery of Modern Art, Ca' Rezzonico - Museum of Eighteenth Century, and the Museum of Natural History.

The Fondazione Querini Stampalia will be open for free from 6pm to 9pm, with workshops for children and a speed dates dedicated to its collections.
Workshop for children will go on until 8pm even at Ca 'Giustinian, headquarter of the Biennale, which organizes also shows and performances around the city as part of the 9. International Festival of Contemporary Dance.

Along with many private galleries,bookshops and exhibiting spaces, other institutions will close no earlier than midnight: Fondazione Prada at Ca 'Corner della Regina, hosting the exhibition "Art or Sound", the Officina delle Zattere will screening art videos on the "Squero" of San Trovaso, the SaLE-Docks and the two spaces of the Pinault Foundation, namely Palazzo Grassi and Punta della Dogana.

The Venetian event has gained an important international recognition this year: Art Night Venice 2014 became officially part of the European Art Nights, which already include cities such as Paris, Bologna and Florence.
