Venice - The last of three guided tours dedicated to the work "Visions of the Hereafter" by Hieronymus Bosch will take place at Palazzo Grimani on Thursday May, 29th, 2014.
After the past events focused on the "Grimani's paintings by Bosch" and on the "Technique, conservation, renovation" of these four panels, the last one will examine the "Tella de li sogni", the Canvas of Dreams, through an itinerary curated by Marta Boscolo Marchi.

The title is based on a work by the venetian writer and art collector Marcantonio Michiel, who described with admiration the collection of Cardinal Domenico Grimani around 1521. In particular, Michel noticed the "canvas of Hell" and the "canvas of Dreams", highlighting them as precious and rare works, "real incunabula of Modern art."

This initiative is an important occasion to discover this group of paintings from an historical perspective. The were just restored and are now back after a long exhibition at the Musée du Luxembourg in Paris.
The tour is free, while the limited admission is included in the ticket to the Museum of Palazzo Grimani.
