The Santa Bibiana Mosaic
The great mosaic was uncoverd in 1904 near the Church of Santa Bibiana, near the aurelian wall. Originally, it would have decorated part of the Horti Liciniani (gardens), perhaps part of the Palatium Licinium (palace). The scene shows a wild boar hunt.
