Once upon a time in Liechtenstein

The dramatic transformation that Liechtenstein has undergone over the past 100 years has resulted in a block of buildings, almost entirely derived from types and styles of foreign influences. The result is a mix of modern and post-modern architecture, which, as a whole, could be (wrongly) interpreted as local architectural culture. This exhibition and its parallel events aim to reflect on how prevalent they are, generally, types of buildings adapted to a particular type of condition, and to discover how this process of transformation has generated processes and core values, such as to form an identity contemporary architectural (and future) of Liechtenstein.
