The monumental entrance hall of the Ospedale Civile of Venice, one of the most important historical locations of medicine in Venice, hosts an unusual comparison between the different medical practices of Western and Eastern cultures. The exhibition was organised by the City Hall of Venice and the Scuola Grande di San Marco, along with the Università Ca’ Foscari and the Istituto Confucio, in collaboration with the city of Suzhou, ancient city on the water of the Chinese province of Jangsu, Venice’s twin city since 1980.
