Dereliction revisited in an ecological key, the man who is just passing through, the void which is filled.
Places abandoned by man are the ground for the photographers’ investigation, though the focus is not on the spaces themselves, but on the emptiness that is slowly being reconquered by nature.
The title of the exhibition is telling: Pachamama is the name that the Incas gave to Mother Earth, bountiful and benevolent deity capable at the same time of showing a cruel side and the wilfulness to take back that which belongs to it.
