Among the great precursors of the Milan Expo there are some that stand out, bringing with them the memory of another era: one of these is the Expo '67 in Montreal, world exhibition of architecture, design, technology, culture, that in six months was more than 50 million visitors and found to be both a pioneer and a witness to the cultural and social revolution of those years.

Are the months when the Beatles publish Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, in Greece begins the junta, takes off the first Boeing 747, the first record of Pink Floyd, Karol Wojtyla was ordained cardinal. And while at the Venice Film Festival Golden Lion goes to Bella giono of Luis Buñuel, a few kilometers away from the aggregation of Banca Popolare di Montebelluna with the National Bank of the District of Asolo, it founded the Banca Popolare di Asolo and Montebelluna, which will originate from the same Veneto Banca which is now the main sponsor of the exhibition "Fragments Expo '67", which proposes the contributions of artists Emilio Vedova and Alexander Calder at the Expo 1967 in Montreal.

The exhibition will take place from May 6 to October 18, 2015 in Venice at the spaces of Fondazione Vedova, Spazio Vedova and Magazzini del Sale and it's a great opportunity to reflect on the legacy of a legendary International Exhibition, seen through the eyes of an artist at both deeply attached to their land and open to the world. The best recipe and the best wishes possible for Expo 2015.
