The tumbled planks of wood in abandoned huts, old shacks and galleries where you can still find bombs, cartridges, shells and even bones in the most inaccessible places.
On the Dolomites, Adamello, Pasubio and Carso does not seem to be a century has passed, because the remains of the First World War are preserved with meticulous respect by time and the mountains. Fragments of history that comes to life in the exhibition 'Theatres of War - Photographs by Luca Campigotto' inaugurated in Venice on September 5th at 18 at the Palazzo Ducale and will be open until 30 ottobre.
The shots of Luca Campigotto, shown for the first time on 31 May in Rome in the presence of the Head of State Giorgio Napolitano at the launch of the commemorations of the government for the Centenary of the Great War, arrive in Venice.
The new frame has hosted as usual the Film Festival, which this year in tribute to their special anniversary has paid particular attention to the issue of the war at the center of several films in the race.
The exhibition is an evocative journey through landscapes bare and tragically majestic, and is an indelible document of the bloody years between 1915 and 1918. In support, the app 'Theaters of War', downloadabled from Google Play for Android and Apple Store for Iphone and Ipad, that uses augmented reality and image recognition, with which you can immerse yourself in the context of the conflict through a video-narrative. To start the clip just to frame some of the photos shown or included in the exhibition catalog.
