In this pottery town, following in the footsteps of the great Giustiniani, a workshop has made its home in the old Palazzo Sant’Antonio, where the Museo Civico della Ceramica Cerretese (municipal Cerreto Sannita ceramics museum) is also based. Here, expert hands craft stunning, unique pieces like holy-water stoups, inkpots, apothecaries’ “albarello” jars, fruit centrepieces, classic soup tureens and other beautiful forms from the repertoire of this noble and deeply rooted local tradition.
