Polyhymnia
A Roman copy of a work originally of the Hellenistic era, it was found in 1928 on Via Terni near Porta Maggiore, former location of the Horti Spei Veteris (gardens) in which the statue once rested. The statue shows the muse of the pantomime elegantly leaning forward on her elbows.
