The Three Ages of Woman

Flaminio, Parioli, Villa Borghese

The Three Ages of Woman
One of the few works of the austrian great in Italy. It was exhibited at the international exhibit for the fiftieth anniversary of the Unity of Italy in 1911 and was purchased by the State and slated to be kept at the new Gallery of Modern Art. The painting is an allegory showing an old woman, a young mother and the baby in her arms.
