There is a new air at Del Cambio, the historic restaurant of piazza Carignano, established in 1757, and re-opened in April 2014 after one year of restorations. Great international artists (Patkin, Gamper, Pistoletto, Bronstein and Herrera) were involved in the restoration of such a precious location. But the greatest innovation is in the kitchen, manned by Matteo Baronetto – born Torinese, but trained at the court of Carlo Cracco, together with whom he would prepare the menus of the Milanese restaurant. Tasting menu from 120 euros to 140 euros, on Sunday morning you can opt for the delicious déjeuner à la fourchette, or, if you wish for a taste of something lighter, go to Bar Cavour, open every day, serving specialties until late at night.
