This trattoria was established at the beginning of the 1900s as a tavern and rest stop for Venetians looking for peace under the shades of grapevines; it is located one kilometre from the Venetian lagoon, on the Vignole island. A magical atmosphere still permeates it, especially in the summer, when you can eat out on tables of any size. The trattoria offers approximately thirty dishes from the typical Venetian cuisine, including the following specialties: excellent grilled meat, sarde in saor (fried fresh sardine fillets marinated in softly cooked white onions), lobster spaghetti and Sant’Erasmo artichokes. Only open in summer, from April to September.
