From September 26 to November 23, a rich program of events and photographic exhibitions confirms the festival as a must-see event of the autumn season.

The Siena Awards Festival 2025 kicks off on September 26 with three unmissable events: starting with the SIPA Talks, featuring leading masters of photography, followed by Ars Lucis, a spectacular video mapping show on the Palazzo Pubblico and Torre del Mangia, and concluding with the highly anticipated interview with Steve McCurry, hosted by Gianluca Gazzoli.

A festival to be savored slowly, strolling through the alleys, squares, and historic landmarks of Siena's city center, as well as the charming villages of Castelnuovo Berardenga and Sovicille.

Four extraordinary solo exhibitions showcase the work of outstanding photographers: Muhammed Muheisen takes us through two decades of war, exile, and resilience; Elliot Ross highlights the deep inequalities in access to water in the United States; Katie Orlinsky tells the dramatic story of the disappearing caribou in the Arctic; and Adrees Latif explores the complex reality of migration along the U.S.-Mexico border.

In addition to the solo shows, the Siena Awards Photo Festival 2025 offers a rich exhibition program featuring: the prestigious group exhibition of the SIPA-Siena International Photo Awards, the cutting-edge selection of the Creative Photo Awards, the breathtaking aerial images of the Drone Photo Awards, and the powerful solo exhibition by Kiana Hayeri, No Woman's Land - an intense narrative on what it means to be a woman in lands marked by conflict and transformation.

Forty installations displayed on the facades of buildings in the historic center of Sovicille - set within old, bricked-up doors and windows - transform this charming Tuscan village into an open-air museum. A unique opportunity to experience art in a timeless and evocative setting.
