From April 11th, 2014, on the occasion of the president of the Senate Pietro Grasso's official visit to the Czech Republic, the Italian Embassy in Prague will display an exhibition of prints created by the 16th-century Italian master Tiziano Vecellio.

The six portraits exhibited come from a collection of over 170 works of the same kind, purchased by the Fondazione Centro Studi Tiziano e Cadore in 2013. The loan is part of a collaboration project between this institution and czech museums, also in the view of the major exhibition "Tiziano Vanitas", which will be held at the Imperial Stables of the Prague Castle in April 2015.

Meanwhile, the master is the protagonist of another event at the Museo Correr in Venice, where visitors can enjoy a self-portrait, drawn in black pencil and coming from a private collection, until June 15th.
