Marriage
This painting is part of the Seven Sacraments series displayed in the bedroom of the palace, as requested by Andrea Querini who commissioned the work. In the small canvas the painter depicts the religious ceremony with an attention to reality that renders it domestic and every day, as in the detail of the beggar asleep in the background, for example.
