Rome - Anticipating the celebrations for the Republic Day, the Quirinale opened its doors to the public, thanks to a virtual tour in high resolution that will allow visitors to explore its painted halls and gardens from everywhere.

The new itinerary, which is accessible from PCs, smartphones and tablets, entertains users with an immersive experience, a 360° tour accompanied, in the Italian version, by the voices of actors Francesco Pannofino and Isabella Ragonese .

From now on it will be possible to admire the furniture and frescoes decorating the Main Floor, the Gardens and Coffee House.
In these halls people could find works of Melozzo da Forlì and Giulio Romano, Guido Reni and Corrado Giaquinto but also tapestries of the Gobelins manufactory in Paris, fine mosaics and ceramics, in the settings designed by leading architects such as Bernini, and also in those redesigned during the Napoleonic period.

For those wishing to visit for real the green areas of the palace, on June 2nd, 2014 the Gardens of the Quirinale will be open and accessible for free with no reservation and with musical performances from 3pm to 7pm.
