La Barrique (one Michelin star) offers dishes from the Piedmont traditional cuisine, winningly revisited by chef Stefano Gallo. Here you can sample the classic agnolotti ai tre arrosti (Piedmont ravioli with a three-meat gravy) or Carmagnola grey rabbit with candied cherry tomatoes, Cailletiers and finely ground corn mush. For desserts, local flavours are kings, like chocolate and hazelnut (for example crunchy chocolate cylinder, coffee mousse, cocoa meringue and caramel ice cream). You can choose from three tasting menus (fish, tradition and gourmet). There is also an interesting “young menu” (for under 25s), with four courses and two matching wines at 50 euros.
