Making of the Golden Calf

DESCRIZIONE:
The two side paintings of the chancel are two of the largest paintings ever made by the painter. On the left Moses is transfigured before God giving the commandment tablets, while at the bottom the Hebrews are on the point of making the golden calf whose model they carry and for which they gathered their jewels. Opposite, the spectacular Last Judgment is painted as a new deluge.
