This is a place of many parts. Ex Libris, indeed, is not just a restaurant that holds a wide range of themed evenings – it is also a bookshop, cafe, wine bar, B&B, exhibition space and event venue. Home to all this is the 15th-century Palazzo Lanza, now lovingly restored to preserve the original materials and lend a modern, elegant flavour to its interiors through minimalist decor. In the kitchen, they are meticulous about sourcing their ingredients, most of which are local.
