In the heart of Trastevere in the confusion of the tiny streets is this tavern which is relatively formal for the neighborhood as well as expensive, but offers traditional roman specialties from supplì (various deep fry) to coda alla vaccinara (oxtail stew), which are all deliciously prepared. Portions are generous and the wine list is excellent. Finding parking is difficult.
