Accademy Gallery of Saint Luca
The Gallery, housed in Palazzo Carpegna, which was built by followers of Giacomo della Porta and restored for Carpegna by Borromini (1643-47), was opened in 2010 with new exhibits.

The Academy, heir of the university of painters in the 1400s, was born in 1577 and it was only in 1874 that it separated from the Istituto di Belle Arti.

The collections are made up of works gathered over the centuries and done by the artists who attended the institute “created to promote the beautiful arts” and contribute to the artistic tradition of Italy and the conservation of works of art.
