Star Wars Storyboards
Of the many cult items that history of film enthusiasts can find in the Mole Antonelliana, it is certainly worth mentioning the storyboards of the second Star Wars film to be released, The Empire Strikes Back (1980). The illustrator Ralph McQuarrie deserves great credit for producing pictures that convinced the producers to invest in George Lucas’s saga.
The museum also has other exhibits of great interest for the many fans of the hit movies: a poster of the first Star Wars film (1977) and Darth Vader’s helmet from The Empire Strikes Back (1980).
