Trento - The MART, Museo d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Trento e Rovereto, has just expanded with a new bequest of great interest.
Roberta Cerini Baj, wife of the 20th century artist Enrico Baj, has just donated the whole fund of materials belonged to her husband to the institution in Trento.

The collection includes letters, photographs, manuscripts, but also invitations, posters, personal objects and professional documents of this renowned representative of Italian art after 1950s. During his career, Baj joined movements such as Arte Nucleare and Patafisica, and established a good relationship with some of the protagonists of Historical Avant-gardes, from Breton to Farfa and Francis Picabia.

Besides this large collection, the museum will also receive a part of his precious library, which includes books, avant-garde magazines and rare futurist publications, but also other books about his work. The donation will become part of the large Archivio del '900, the archive of the 20th century, and will be accessible upon request.
