Venice - The Fondazione Emilio e Annabianca Vedova will open again its space at the Magazzino del Sale with a new exhibition. "Vedova in Tondo" will welcome visitors from May, 17th to November 2nd, 2014, and will present an important moment of this venetian master's artistic research, which is its move to circular paintings and sculptures, developed between 1984 and 1987.
Five "Tondi" (round panels), along with a floor "Disco" from the cycle "Non Dove '86", will interact with a selection of "Oltre" and large canvases from the '80s, most of them displayed for the first time.

After the events that surrounded the works of Vedova with those by Louise Bourgeois, Anselm Kiefer, Aldo Rossi and Roy Lichtenstein, the calendar of the Foundation will go on with a brand new artistic contamination.

On the occasion of the opening night, on Friday 16th, the Tondi will appear next to a special guest, the pianist Stefano Bollani. The combination between these two forms of art, painting and music, required the musician to study Vedova's art. This research will result in an innovative performance, far from the traditional piano concert.

During the exhibition, the video of the event will be screened in the space at the Magazzini del Sale, and the machine designed by Renzo Piano will be set in motion again.
