DESCRIZIONE:
The painting’s theme is the contemplation of the Christ child by the three saints. It features Rose of Lima, identified by the rose and the nightingale she holds in her arm with which she duetted in solitude, Saint Catherine with the crucifix and the crown of thorns and Agnes, who seems to lean out of the picture with the little cross.
