Stories of the Old and New Testament
in the Pucci Chapel are frescoes from the great student of Raphael, which recall the series of the Vatican “Stanze” (Rooms) painted by the master himself, above all, the lunette with the Visitation. The decorations of the ribbing of the chapel are splendid festoons of flowers and fruit. Perino returning from Genoa, after the sack of Rome (1527), frescoed the Massimo Chapel, though nothing remains except for the Resurrection of Lazarus on display at the  Victoria & Albert Museum of London.
